Solution focused hypnotherapy uses practical, modern, and well-researched strategies. It combines the use of hypnosis with NLP and CBT techniques to help people make significant, positive changes in their lives in a relatively short period of time. Solution focused hypnotherapy focuses on the solutions rather than focusing on the problems.
During our sessions, I will explain to you how the brain works, and why we feel like we do and what we can do to get back on track.
We will explore the positive things you have been doing over the last week. We will work together and talk about your goals, so you can focus on the positive things in your life, helping you visualise small steps towards those new goals and get you to where you want to be.
During our session I will use hypnosis to guide you into a state of focussed attention and deep relaxation, which is also known as trance. Trance is natural in many ways. We all go in and out of trance many times during our day, for example when we are watching tv, running or driving a regular route. Trance is when the two minds, the conscious and subconscious come together in focus. In this state, your mind is more responsive to suggestions that are designed to be beneficial to help you change unhelpful thought patterns. Hypnosis is completely safe, and you are in control throughout.
